South Carolina Dance Company of Lexington SC has many talented students who are impacting the community in various ways.
This page is dedicated to our SCDC students who are making the news, volunteering for community service, or are achieving high marks in other areas beyond the dance stage. We are so proud of our student’s accomplishments and we look forward to showcasing thier efforts on this page.
South Carolina Dance Company’s student, Belle Scott, is the reigning queen of the Miss South Carolina Pre Teen for 2011-2012.
We would like to congratulate South Carolina Dance Company’s company student, Belle Scott of Batesburg-Leesville SC, for her accomplishments away from the dance floor this year. She has represented her community well through her role as the Miss South Carolina Pre Teen winner. Belle’s involvememt in the community has touched the hearts of many in the following organizations: Anti- bullying PSA, National Night Out, Generations Assisted Living, Books and Beyond.
Belle Scott will compete in the 2011-2012 National American Miss Pageant in California on Novemeber 26th, 2011.
On Saturday, November 26th, Belle Scott will represent the Palmetto State in National American Miss, Pre Teen division. This Pageant is to be held at Disney Land, California, and will be televised on the NAM website. To view the Pageant’s webcast, please visit www.namiss.com or click here.
The South Carolina Dance Company staff and family would like to wish Belle and her family the best of luck during Belle’s week-long trip to California. Belle will be dancing the routine “Pearl” for the talent portion of the contest. She has worked very hard on this choreography, and we are excited for the success we know she will have.
